Illinois Campus

the Illini union is a colonial structure on the edge of the green grassy quad. Tradition dictates that this Morrow Corn Plot be planted each year right in the heart of campus. Here is a photo of the Quad with fall trees and students walking to class. Most campus buildings are brick with colonial style peaked roofs. On the edge of the green quad is this huge rounded domed building of brick and bronze atop. This gothic steeple pokes up into a blue sky. One of the many statues of bronze on campus. This is of three men and titled Alma Mater.
