Illinois Students


Quad day has booths of all sorts out on the quad.  Here is the college republican booth with throngs of friendly supporters on hand. Shown here is an ROTC class in session. A D Phi house is on the national register of historic places.  It's three storied brick with a central wing and two sites.  All have peaked high roofs. Cheerleaders and ROTC pose on the sidelines of a night game for the Illini. The Kappa Sig house is a three story brick with tile roof structure with a large porch for coed watching. The three story Sigma Pi house is stone with high peaked roofs on each end.  It winter and the ground is snow covered. Pi Beta Phi sponsors a fiesta for charity and here are pictured a couple of dozen beautiful coeds in fiesta clothes holding up advertising signs for the event. Here is a huge line of girls visiting a sorority for rush.  All are in whit t shirts. Illinois students rub Lincoln's nose for luck on this bronze bust of Lincoln. Acacia Fraternity House is three storied stone structure with 4 bnig pillars out front.
