Game Cock fans have a new spirit with Steve Spurrier at the helm. They also have a huge state fair parking lot with real Cockabooses, the first in college football. Ed Robinson bought 22 cabooses from a "bone yard" and started the Cockaboose Railroad. Alumni could buy these rail cars for $45,000 in 1990 dollars. What they did with them was amazing. These plush half a million dollar cars have all the ammenities. They have closed circuit tv, full kitchens and bars and decks on top for viewing people. Other colleges have copied this idea.
